“Ever since we planned our trip to Italy with my wife, I knew that I had to take at least a couple of SpotyPals with me. I was so excited to use the device we’ve been working on in real circumstances and see how useful it was going to be. Spoiler alert: very!

I decided to attach one SpotyPal to my luggage and place another one inside my wallet’s pocket since these two items were the most valuable things I wanted to keep track of.

The SpotyPal on my luggage was an amazing tool for the entire trip. First of all, I used the “Nearby Alert” feature while we were at the baggage claim at the airport. Instead of standing in front of the carousel, waiting for my bag to appear along with all the other passengers, I simply set the “Nearby Alert” on my app. I stood comfortably on a chair, drinking my coffee and when my bag came within the range I received a notification on my phone and went to get it. Such a simple thing to set up, but it made a big difference!

“Since I started working on SpotyPal’s app, I’ve been using the device in many circumstances in my daily life. Whether that is to find where I parked my car or to keep track of my phone and keys, this Bluetooth tracker has been a major help for someone as busy as I am. But there is someone else in my life that is enjoying his SpotyPal even more than I am. That is my dog, Hector!

Ever since he was a puppy, I bought him his own device. He has learned to identify its sound and knows that whenever SpotyPal rings, he has to come closer to me. It’s been a great way to teach him not to run far away and I can always feel safe that whenever he runs further than he should have, my phone will ring to notify me and I can command him to come back.

“SpotyPal has made a major impact in my life and helped me in so many ways so far. But the one area where it has made the biggest difference is my travels. I love traveling and every weekend -or as often as I possibly can- I ride my motorcycle and visit beautiful destinations in Greece. But there are always so many things I need to carry with me! On every trip I need to have with me: at least one bag with my DSLR camera and lenses, another bag with my go-pro action camera and its equipment, a bag with my waterproof clothes in case it rains and a bag with my personal belongings (wallet, phone, keys etc).

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve left the house forgetting something behind…

«My SpotyPal Story is certainly a little bit funny and unusual, but also one that many parents can relate to. It involves one of my daughter’s favorite toys, Linda the Lama. But let me take it from the start.

My daughter loves stuffed animals. We have dozens of them in our house,  but Linda the Lama is without a doubt her most cherished toy. She’s been with us for years and I would even say she’s definitely a part of our family, haha!

So you can imagine what happened if Linda was ever misplaced, hiding under a blanket in my daughter’s bedroom or underneath the living room couch. Not only would my daughter be upset, but we couldn’t do anything else until we found Linda. I can’t tell you how many times this has happened in the past ever since she was a little girl.
